About WPBridge Studio
Why this product exists
Managing WordPress through a conversation is useful only when the connection is understandable and verifiable. WPBridge Studio is built around that idea: discover the sites, identify the connected user, read actual data and enable changes deliberately.
The project began as a self-hosted WordPress and MCP bridge. This separate commercial version adds customer accounts, payment-based entitlements and daily usage accounting without changing that permission-first workflow.
What we aim to make clear
Customers should know which account they are using, which sites are connected and what their daily allowance includes. A one-time purchase should not quietly become a recurring service charge. A read-only connection should not expose a publishing tool before writing is enabled.
The product does not claim to replace WordPress hosting, ChatGPT or the capabilities of installed plugins. It connects these parts through authenticated REST and MCP tools.
An honest release boundary
The current release uses self-service WordPress onboarding and a file-backed deployment on persistent storage. It includes a customer dashboard, Stripe Checkout integration and signed webhook fulfillment. Production operations require verified payment configuration, ongoing staging tests, current business and legal disclosures, and secure handling of customer connections. Customers should confirm checkout availability and current service terms before purchasing.
WPBridge Studio is an independent product and is not represented as an official WordPress or OpenAI product. For setup help, visit the documentation or support page.
What is WPBridge Studio?
WPBridge Studio develops a WordPress-to-AI connection workflow using authenticated Model Context Protocol tools and WordPress REST APIs. Its aim is to help site owners inspect content, verify site identity and perform permission-controlled tasks through compatible AI clients. The brand is independent of WordPress, OpenAI, Anthropic and Google; references to those products describe interoperability, not endorsement.
The product separates the AI client’s OAuth authorization from the WordPress identity used to access site data. This matters because an authorized connector does not automatically receive permission to change every WordPress setting. The WordPress user and REST endpoint permissions remain part of each operation.
How our technical documentation is written
- Explain actual access: State when a workflow is limited to installed WordPress REST routes or the permissions of a user.
- Separate verified from pending: Connection instructions, protocol tests and live third-party client trials are different evidence levels.
- Document important limits: Distinguish hosted request allowances from AI provider limits, WordPress hosting and direct-mode licensing.
- Show reproducible checks: Provide site identity, authenticated user, known-content read and read-back steps instead of relying on screenshots of a connected badge.
- Correct outdated details: Product versions, client menus and platform eligibility can change; use current product and platform documentation before deployment.
Read our MCP architecture guide, compatibility checks and security model to evaluate whether Studio fits a particular WordPress task.
Where to find installation help and commercial terms
Start with the installation guide. If authentication or an operation fails, review troubleshooting by error type and contact the support team with a redacted diagnostic description. Do not send passwords, OAuth tokens or private WordPress content in a public message.
Hosted Studio subscriptions and one-time purchases are described on the pricing page, with separate terms of service, privacy information and technical-support refund conditions. Customer questions can be sent through the official support page.
WPBridge Studio FAQs
Is WPBridge Studio an official WordPress or ChatGPT product?
No. WPBridge Studio is an independent connector product for compatible platforms.
Does WPBridge Studio store or host my WordPress website?
No. Your WordPress hosting remains separate from the connector. Hosted Studio manages the connection workspace, not the website itself.
How can I confirm a claimed capability?
Use a supported REST route on your authorized site, inspect the returned resource and verify results after any permitted change. If a desired operation lacks an endpoint, it should not be presented as supported.
